Sophia Domeno works as a grief counselor by day in the crime ridden Rockwood City, whose masked protector X Knight shields the innocent from crime. But at night Sophia takes on her own alter ego as a superhero Dr. Knight-Mare who can travel into a mind of a lost soul whose dealing with suicidal depression. The suicidal ticks are set off by a demon that is plaguing the lost souls mind, which Dr. Knight-Mare must battle and extract. So the lost soul is lost no more.
