A panda who came to the U.S. at a young age and a pair of estranged elephant siblings, Elliott and Ellie, live with 20-something gay Ethan in Los Angeles. Elliott is a Marxist activist who is always involved in a new issue, Paco has a passion for food and runs a bamboo taco truck, and Ellie is an expat who spent time in the backwoods of Wisconsin and Appalachia. They all live with Ethan, who lets them live rent free as reparations for his species slowly destroying their habitats and species.
