After an incident with the gods, humanity was punished by being separated. Each major city took place on a giant moving platform, rumored to be hovering over an endless void of fog. Each test to explore the ground has come back in failure. Everything that enters below the surface is destined to not return, despite this royals have been sending lower class citizens into the fog.
