1990. In a world where nations live in human forms, China meets with a mysterious visitor to speak with her about their history together. During their conversation, China reminisces on her long, storied past with Korea. Korea's past is turbulent and painful, beginning with her idyllic childhood with her older sisters, Goguryeo and Baekje, and progressing into a difficult life troubled first by Japan, then by North Korea. But there turns out to be far more to North Korea than meets the eye.
