1000 years ago humanity faced possible extinction after the arrival of monsters called 'teras'. Now the descendants of humanity live in an eternal winter, protected by Midgard’s walls. Rose grew up outside of Midgard with her younger brother, Oliver. However, she finds herself arrested and taken into Midgard. For the first time in her life, she and Oliver have been separated and she will do anything to see him again. Even if it means becoming the best soldier in Midgard's army.
