Kazuar bears an odd mark on his back since childhood that revealed itself to be the Firebird of Russian folklore as he grew up, which also happened to be his namesake. He knows little to nothing of his origins, moreso of the fact his ancestors were once notorious vampire slayers known for their mystic fire hundreds of years ago. Now he's the prophesied "last slayer" to survive the clan's downfall. A potential threat to the vampires, but also a potential ally to them...
