Rook and Quinn are a rather unlikely pair- a sneakily obstinate Glimpse and a blind and near-magicless witchling. Like his father, he trains birds to carry his people on their backs. She's a little harder to describe, but I'll let them do that as the story goes on. Their friendship is bound to have its loops and hills, but what do you think happens when you throw in a young and awkward, overly zealous wizard?
