FREEBODY is a cyberpunk action/romance/thriller/slice of life manga about corporate gods, leased implants, class rage, black comedy, and a small angry girl with unlicensed tech. Max Tani is a broke girl from a wasteland town trying to make it in Pacific Meridian, a neon megacity ruled by bureaucrats and artificial gods. After her first night, Max loses her job, her future, and her freedom, but with the "Freebody" tech her father implanted in her years ago, she just might make it.
