After creation, Mother Earth and the Father of the Sea and Sky cursed the beings of the world. If a species of the land and one of the sea were to ever fall in love, they would disintegrate at the slightest touch. Cyanos, brother of the Sky and son of the Heavens was a more daring god, not one to be bound by rules. As fate would have it, Cerelia, a beautiful maiden of the land, had a flare for adventure and a tendency to follow her heart. By a cruel happenstance, the two meet.
