No, "gluke" is not a spelling error.
The game they are currently playing, Rebels of the Silver Legion, is based on a series of science fiction adventure novels I wrote.
When I decided to bring back this comic, I figured why not have them play in that same universe? But in their world, it's based on the failed writings of the Big Guy (note one of the boxes in the storage room in the prologue).
