Both times I've worked with the elderly and/or the disabled we were trained to wheel residents through doors going backward, as not to bash their arms or feet in the door frame, but honestly I never see people do this in media. So I'm not entirely sure if this is standard procedure... Not that it worked very well in this situation haha.
