The futuristic metropolis of Mega-City Beta finds itself plagued by the threat of kaiju, giant monsters that feed on emotions. However, the city has its own secret weapon: the New Wavers, an organization that uses advanced technology to bond with and tame wild kaiju so that they can fight back. Halley Houlihan is the youngest of the New Wavers, and is more than ready to kick some tail alongside her kaiju partner, Elmuthalleth. But an even bigger threat seems to be looming just over the horizon.
