Whilst the remainder of humans scramble to find answers, turning to theories of extraterrestrials or gods, three young women (and their cat) set out on a calamitous road trip across the maelstrom of a post-crisis United States to find the truth. This story is about the people who were left behind...and what happens after those who vanish finally return.
