So the bacon thing was inspired by the podcast Lore (episode 201 to be specific). There was a story about a poltergeist a couple centuries ago who spontaneously cooked slabs of bacon and Bird thought it was so hilarious and perfect for this episode. If you like spooky things, Lore is a great podcast!
