In the early 1900s, people born with strange appearance and abilities began to emerge. Labelled as Odds, they found work in the highly popular traveling circuses of the time. For almost two decades they entertained the masses of normal folk called the Evens. Fear and intolerance forced the closure of the circuses in the 1940s. Seeking a new life, a group of Odds have found refuge in the only place giving them shelter, a small neighbourhood of Big City known as Oddsville. The heroic and charismatic Gorilla Joe, the most famous circus performer in history, leads the group. In the volatile era of the early 1940s, a new threat emerges to put Gorilla Joe through his greatest challenges yet.
