Green Maiden (In original (Latvian) - Zaļā Jaunava ) is a short fairytale written by Kārlis Skalbe - Latvian writer, poet, and activist. The fairytale tells a story of a prince who is obsessed with treasure hunt. One day he finds an ancient treasure. The treasure appears to be cursed and blinds the prince.
