Sonia (the main character) goes through a struggle with her hair. She gets bullied for having dreadlocks which leads to self-comparison and insecurity. Sonia starts to hate her hair, she tells her mom what happened and asks for “normal hair” like her peers. Her Mom shows her the beauty in her hair and how important it is.
