Leaving their homeland, they face difficulties, and after Hester's awful experiences, she concludes the world is a terrible place and leaves her family to go live in the quiet countryside. But right when Hester thinks she'll never breathe the city air again, she finds herself returning to look for her sister who has disappeared after messing with the mafia.
