June 4th 1944, the Allied and Partisen troops march through Rome after its liberation from Nazi control. As the crowd cheers one such soldier sits in silence. After the celebration ends and the streets quiet, a new parade begins. This is the parade of all the angered spirits, gods, soldiers, and civilians killed in the war. The story focuses on one such soldier and all he has seen. For them, everything was left at their end in the swirling darkness.
