Moon's explanation to Ali about the difference between what is on the map and the landscape is something that I experienced. A friend of mine literally did that. He was looking at the a map of the coastline and looking along the actual coast 'trying' to make it fit. Things are sometimes not what they seem and contradict our perceptions and expectations.
