Luck seems to be against average teen Alex Baumgartner. Losing his parents on his birthday at a young age, being thrown around from foster family to foster family - none of who seem to want him - he's been pushed into the cruel hands of fate at an early age. Seemingly emotionless, he drives away classmates and possible friends with his odd nature and nihilistic behaviour. But unbeknownst to him... something's going to happen sooner or later.
