People had a lot of questions about Donovan not decomposing. In my mind, the doctor invented something to keep the blood flowing (hence the tubes connected to him) so his organs are not deteriorating. Donovan’s situation was inspired somewhat by a real life case that I read about which I may talk about next author’s corner!
