When people die, angels and demons take them to the afterlife. Kail is a merciful angel who takes the pure of heart to heaven. Ink is a malevolent demon whose job is to take the souls of evil doers to hell. Together they form an unlikely pair and get an unexpected career change when they meet a young girl named Ani.
