Juneau, Alaska. A girl’s body is found in the woods on a rainy autumn night. A tourist. No ID. Alone. The police want to call it an animal attack. It’s easier that way. But young officer Kay notices something wrong — the wounds don’t match. He starts his own investigation, even though his superiors tell him to let it go.
