Two death row inmates are given a dangerous mission, in exchange for a chance at their freedom. One of them was framed and wants acquittal. The other, avengeance. Joined by a girl who was enslaved to a local gang, the trio travel the inhospitable Badlands. Along the way they encounter cybernetic gangs, insurgency, and esoteric philosophy. Worse yet, they'll have to face the brutal past that got them arrested as well.
