When his parents returned home from a five year mission trip, Amari knew that their reality of him shattered. He wasn't their innocent and obedient son anymore, now he's a sarcastic teenager who skips class and gets into fights. So his father tries to make him more "Christian" by changing his clothes and cutting his hair, but Amari's attitude remains the same. It's almost as if being a Christian means Jesus changes one's heart instead of what shirt they wear. But let's let them figure this out
