This comic follows the life a former slave girl named Vali, whose freedom is paid for by the King and God of the land. Vali is given the opportunity to become a daughter of the King, and must now learn the customs of the palace and what it means to live a life of freedom. But what's to become of Vali's identity and purpose now that her world has become so large and so limitless? And who is this King that would pay such a high price for a girl like her? Is He genuinely kind and generous?
