Just an Imagination Having imaginary friends is seen as a normal part of a child's life. In some case they were a coping mechanism for stress, to help battle a child's loneliness and some children just wants a comforting presence. Creativity and a strong sense of imagination are vital to any childhood. It must be kept alive. Because to them it's not just an imagination.
