Catching the after-effects of an illicit relationship between a human and a creature from the Underworld, deadbeat robot Twobit Ratcher is pried from his life in the slums and thrown in the midst of a brewing conflict which could destroy everything he's ever known. Partnered with obnoxious demons, cursed men, ancient deities and warriors of Heaven themselves, Ratcher is going to have to see if he can't make up for all his bad karma, and keep the world from tearing itself to shreds.
