This is Gale. In a way. It certainly looks like Gale, but is it really them? Who can be sure but Gale. "I think therefore I am," right? The problem is, whoever is piloting Gale doesn't know. This is a slightly meditative collection of short stories about Gale, a person who exists, but only on paper.
