Over the centuries there have been stories of Demons, Monsters, Spirits, Demi Gods, and Gods. The descendantsY of these beings are called the Kindling and there has been a sudden emergence of gifted people. The number is unknown, but is estimated to be thirty percent of the population. A girl named Kit fights in an underground arena for spare cash against other Kindling.
