A cat sat grooming himself, savouring the tranquility of the night. Suddenly, he noticed a shadow moving closer...and to his horror, a wrinkly face, filled with slobber dangling from its saggy mouth appeared. "A Rottie!" He screeched and without a moment to lose, the cat dashed down the street with the relentless hound hot on his tail. As the rain poured down, the cat slipped on a oil spill and plummeted into a nearby manhole. The dog did too, ending their chase in an unexpected twist of fate.
