Krista, a vampire living in a society unified with humans, spent 50 years imprisoned after losing control and killing a human. Now free, she still struggles with guilt, and no longer knows where she belongs. After nearly losing control again and attacking a girl named Luci, Krista becomes obsessed with her after being comforted by her. She realizes that, in order to survive in this world, she needs to change. But how? How can she interact with, protect, and maybe even fall in love with her food?
