Bernard Meyer, a young American from a little-known Midwestern town, fulfills his dreams of becoming a baker after immigrating to France. He's slowly making money with his best friend Emmanuel and adores his job. However, his seemingly normal life is turned upside down as he soon learns everything is not as it seems.
