Though not the newest student at Oakland High in the small Virginia town of the same name, Jade Faun has been thrust into a new lifestyle that hasn't proven to be much better than her last. A socially incompetent teenage girl finds solace in a gang of misfits, and despite their differences, have a pretty strong bond. ☺
