Filled with Anxiety and desperate need for appreciation, Leonard's oblivious and self-deprecating attitude leads him to various scenarios in which he must use witt, charm and intellegence to escape from. All of which he does not have. Being the only chicken in a land inhibited primarily by birds that can actually fly, ( hense y'know "birds"and sh%t) Leonard finds a great deal of insecurity in that and tries his best to prove that, flight or no flight, all birds can be equal.
