Strange plants are appearing in the forests of Rurrerum. Black saplings that radiate a magical energy. But where are they coming from? And what do they have to do with an ancient, supposedly extinct species? Fawlen is a young rodent who senses the energy of the black saplings. Together with his loyal companion Lizard and his friends, he sets off on a journey to discover magic, secrets, and a past he never knew.
