Earth seems no longer a place for human beings, and Mars isn't yet. Suspended in a limbo of uncertainties and possibilities, we meet a cosmonaut who has no more motive nor will to fly and love, a synthetic girl yearning for a purpose in life, an archaeologist caught up in a tangle of conspiracies while searching for the truth. In the looming shadow of oppressive powers and obscure agents, will they be able to shed some light on the bleak world they live in?
