See the squares map? That's from an old-timey thing called a text-based multi-user dungeon. My crazy MUD adventures and desire to mercilessly make fun of the absurdities therein inspired the first few pages of Lint. I don't think anyone would get the squares map joke anymore; it was niche even then when I made it in the aughts.
