Spencer Langard is a poor sixteen year old working 3 jobs to help his overworked mother pay the bills. One night, while taking out the trash, he runs into a demon, which nearly kills him before he is saved by a man with glowing eyes and a flaming sword. He consumes the demon's blood to survive his injuries, and soon gains abilities that are far from human. He now must fight off the demons from killing anyone in the human world while trying to balance his jobs and school.
