"You're beautiful! Can I draw you?" Candace is working her way to become a painter outside the shadow of her artist parents. She considers herself in her "loom state." When cloth comes off the loom, but is not yet finished. In fact, her canvas hasn't even been stretched and bound on the frame. After a brutal critique from her figure drawing professor, Candace sees someone so uniquely beautiful she knows they're perfect for a painting to push all her comfort zones, in more ways than one.
