Charlon has been a home to sirens for centuries. These infamous creatures have been known to marry only within their kind, if at all. Dolly Vance, a newly adult siren, is expected to wed her childhood friend, Theodore James. According to even Dolly, it seems only natural their relationship would take this turn. Though she has her doubts, nothing makes her consider abandoning the marriage entirely until the arrival of a charmingly clueless florist, who turns Dolly’s future upside down.
