Two robots are programmed to play a game that will artificially create growth and change on a new planet until it develops life, but they themselves eventually gain consciousness and feel trapped in their programming. When their game is successful, they may have a chance to be free together, but are trapped in a facility that is slowly shutting down now that the experiment is complete.
