Elyse is a writer in her late-20s who has accepted that adventures only happen to young adults. Her usual routine and quiet life is abruptly turned upside down as she accidentally gets involved in a magical scheme. "I'm too old for this" Elyse declares as she reluctantly follows her newfound companions in their fantastical adventures. This story is a comical twist on YA adventures as our main character goes through the struggles of aging and magic.
