They say Mahji are bringing damnation to us all, that their hearts, souls, and bodies are consumed by demons who rip them open and hide inside their flesh. As far as they are concerned, Mahji are hardly human at all. Natsuno, a Mahji condemned of a crime he didn't commit, is accompanied by Sayaka, a Sacerdos under the Oath of Jericho. Together, they seek the knowledge locked inside the mysterious rifts in search of the true reality of the world. However, it might be better to live in ignorance.
