The Gods which oversee the mortal realm have started to realise that humans are slowly losing faith in them due to constant wars, disease and new development in science. They felt it was time for them to step down from Nirvana and bestow upon them a blessing, this blessing was known as "zishu". The Gods which opposed with this were killed and stopped from reincarnating. Two hundred years later Kai was born and goes on an adventure to find the true meaning of "God".
