Frozen with fear at the sight of the golems, it takes Kevin a reminder that his friend is injured to snap himself back to his senses, where he then makes an unprecedented move: Kevin runs away...but he takes Ecco with him. With the golems gaining on the two boys however, Ecco, having recently regained consciousness, offers to use whatever might is left in him to gain them some distance.
