Long ago, a group of mythical creatures appeqared on Earth. unable to hide from humans, they created their own area of land under the name of Almaria, where all types of creatures come to live. After being overrun by their own kind, the Alamarians created a system to keep the population low. However, there are still Alamarians who sneak inside to prevent being hunted by humans. The story folows an Alamarian named Lucine after being caught and held as a slave under the government.
