After a beam from a mysterious creature known as a Cyrax grants magical powers known as Zofu to everyone on Earth, those who possess the powers - known as Evu - are sent to special schools to develop their abilities. Nero is among those who become an Evu, and as he trains to master his newfound powers, he discovers a dark force that threatens to destroy the world.
