BPD is characterized by an intense fear of abandonment, either real or perceived, and a collection of unhealthy and self-destructive coping mechanisms to avoid this. It is very commonly comorbid with autistic people and those with ADHD because of the heightened rejection sensitivity we develop due to mistreatment over our neurological differences. We deserve love, not stigma.
